The Bargain
As a Djinn, the most powerful race of genies, Nicodemus Marsh is sent in to deal with a fiery Janey Duvall after she refuses to help the exiled demon prince get rid of the problems in a business endeavor in the East. Three wishes, and in return, she's his sexual slave for 100 years.
The Job
Janey Duvall, newly bound consort to the Djinn Nicodemus Marsh, is having a few minor problems with the delivery of a contract; namely, the assassin is refusing to finish the job. Knowing this is not normal behavior, she decides that going to Beijing, the city the hit is supposed to take place, is the best course of action.
Marsh is intrigued by the idea, having a few of his own that involve Janey and an auction, and agrees to go, even calling in his marker from his most recent job of taming the fiery woman that became his consort to help with the investigation. When Marsh is faced with the task of transforming Janey for their investigation, will his glamour hold up to the scrutiny and allow them to prevail, or will he lose the one woman he could ever give his heart to?

Djinns & Assassins...perfect combination

The Bargain – Janey Duvall has taken over Duvall Inc., specializing in assassins for hire, and she is a badass. A demon needs her help with some “issues” he’s facing in his not-so-legal business but she won’t budge. Cue Nicodemus Marsh – the hot, dominant, too sexy to resist djinn extraordinaire. If he can’t break her, nobody can. Janey had no clue what she was getting herself into with this bargain, but I’m sure she’ll be more than happy with the results. So tell me, if you had 3 wishes, what would they be?
The Job – Marsh and Janey are on their way to Beijing to clean up a mess. An evangelist has a hit on him, the assassin isn’t closing the deal, and something just isn’t right. And Duvall Inc. is on a mission to find out why. Marsh is still up to his sexy antics and pissing Janey off, but he knows what Janey will like and just how far to push. We also learn more about Janey’s past and get a closer look at how Duvall Inc. runs.
Two short stories that pack one hell of a punch. Heavy magic and rogue assassins, steamy and hilarious, demons, djinn, fey and vampires…yes, please and may I have some more? LOVED these stories and characters and I’m looking forward to more!

More than you bargained for!

I really loved this book! I have to say this was the first book I've read with a Djinn and an assassin and it was thoroughly entertaining. As a female character, Jane is no shrinking violet. She's a bad ass assassin who's also snarky and I adore it!
Marsh....not much else to say but....WOW! He's a Djinn and he's HOT! He goes after what he wants with a vengeance and you gotta love that.
Jane and Marsh together have instant chemistry. Their connection goes much deeper than the original consort bond.
These characters are, hands down, two of my favorites.

Duvall Inc Book One
When Janey has a steamy encounter with the Djinn, Nicodemus Marsh, she knows she will succumb to his charms even though she doesn't want to help Nick's partner. However, Nick can cure her and he intrigues her, so she agrees to be his consort for the next hundred years. After agreeing, Janey hears that one of her assassins has refused to finish a job and she must find out why. With Marsh along for the ride, Janey goes after the mark herself.
If you're looking for a steamy story about Djinn, vampires, and demons, this is the story for you!
Audio Review:
Kylie Stewart has the perfect voice for this story. Some of her pronounciations were a bit different, but other than that I highly recommend her narration.
