... critical so I'll start off by saying that I enjoyed the overall series quite a bit

This review may seem overly critical so I'll start off by saying that I enjoyed the overall series quite a bit. When I first discovered it, I read the first 5 books quickly and waited for this sixth installment.
The sixth book, as the title implies, follows Daniel to his final confrontation with Tarin Conn. The story arc is enjoyable, and I quite liked the final battle scene. Well done by the author.
With all that said, there were several problems:
1) Pricing structure. Every previous book in this series was Kindle Unlimited - this one is not. I still bought it, but seems duplicitous by the author. Not sure I'll read any further Kindle unlimited books by him if he offers them.
2) At least a third of this book is overly repetitious.
3) Dialogue needs serious work. They speak overly formal to each other even in the midst of battle. I never got the sense that the characters spoke with each other in an realistic manner.
4) Overly powerful protagonist. This seems to be a common failing with most self-published titles these days. As far as I can tell, Daniel could teleport around the world and kill thousands of people at will if he were so inclined.
Again, this may seem overly critical as I did enjoy this series overall. This last book was disappointing however; it was largely bogged down by repetition and poor dialogue. For Kindle Unlimited readers, you might want to skip it unless you're dying to know the ending.

Latest addition, was a bit letdown for me!

Last week in January I have been checking every day on Amazon when is the 6th e-book becomes available.
I read all the other five e-books on this saga, and their were EXELLENT to read.
But the latest addition, a was a bit disappointing for me!
The first part of the book, possibly up to 40% was Extremely annoying to read!
Because the author waisted a lot of time re-introducing each player ( which by the way is large number of players in this saga).
Beginning with name and history, then continued to describing in great details what each player looks like, and the colours of their clothing in great details.
I really did not think that was necessary and from my point of view spoiled the story telling.
But ones passed the re-introduction of the entire cast members, the story begins to flow, and it was Excellent.

This book was good. I really enjoyed it but I felt like it really needs an editor with a red pen. There are way to many repeated phrases, for example every time a character teleports the author has to make a quip about how it was faster than whatever scout is providing the visual. Then there are the lengthy physical and sartorial descriptions. I could go on but the story itself is enjoyable.
