practical honest guide to making a marriage work

Very helpful guide. I first read about the author on Reddit on the Marriage sub. The author helped answer a bunch of questions and seemed to have a sincere respect for the institution of marriage. I really enjoyed the 50 lessons. It was a lot to absorb but the lessons were each very concise (not a lot of fluff or any superfluous rambling). Just straight forward advice from a woman who has made it work. Not a miracle cure but honest and practical advice.

This book is written by someone who started her marriage many year ago, but I felt many of the lessons were relevant today. It's nice to hear someone speak so honestly about marriage (talking about the struggles, which many books gloss over). I've been married 7 years and found this to be a great read!
