Short but to the point

I already have my keeper, but read the book on a personal recommendation. It is a short book and pretty fast read, which is a good thing. As busy as my life is, it is hard to sit down and find time for a long book. However, the author was very to the point - not a lot of fluff. Some of the methods she talks about are things that I used to find my husband. We have been married 9 years and I couldn't be happier.
I think if you are looking for someone to spend your life with, this is an excellent read. When you think about it after you read it, you think "is it really that simple? The answer is yes and no. The concept is simple, but it may take some effort on your part. In the end, I think you will find the effort worth it. As I said, it is similar to the method I used and it was definitely worth it for me.

What an eye-opener!

L D Doornbosch really nails the pitfalls of why and how we choose potential partners and how to prepare ourselves for a new and better way. She puts those 'nasty' little bits of self-awareness on a pretty silver plate and presents them to you in a way that make them even look quite lovely. Suddenly it's okay to face the rather uncomfortable facets of your own patterns and you realize that it's all about perspective. This is one of those jewels EVERYONE should read at least once! Dating sites and singles forums would be out of business in no time!

I'm only a few pages into this book and I love it. I feel like I just sat down with a cup of coffee, an old friend, and a long needed loving chat.
This book made me realize I'm not alone in the broken or wounded relationship dept.
I love the author's style of honest and real writing, and straight forward approach. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for honest, loving relationship advice.
A must read for all ages and genders!
