A fun, easy going book that provides simple creative exercises for building bonds between couples. These are activities that are focused specifically on helping couples build connections rooted in friendship and trust. Interesting read! Looking forward to trying these.

Enjoyed all the great ideas

Real World Relationships is a fun and creative way to build your relationship through partner activities. I'm always interested in adding that kind fun to my marriage, especially since we are empty nesters now. This book is perfect for creating closeness and building that fun.
Each activity in the book is clearly defined, gives examples, provides description of each partner's roll, has "dos" and "do nots," and ways of taking the activity to the next level. All activities have a goal: teamwork,trust, growth, intimacy, etc. Most of the activities are not going to cost anything except time together building that closeness.
One of my favorite games is the Treasure Hunt Notes. I decided to do this one on my own to show my husband that he is always on my mind and in my heart. He is still finding notes that I've hidden for him. I altered it a little but the effect is the same.
I also liked the idea of creating the Idea List. We get stuck in the repetition of always asking "what do do want to do?" This tool saves time and can constantly change.

This was way more fun than other relationship building methods. Who knew the process of getting to a great relationship could be a reward in itself.
