Great lessons and great tools for anyone who wants to teach and inspire

As a business person I got a lot out of Paul's Lead With a Story book. But I wasn't sure what I'd get from his book on using stories with children and young people. Wow, did I get a LOT! The stories are incredible and the tools very helpful for me as a parent. I've already told some of the stories to my children and they've not only remembered them, but asked me for more. As a family we're also adding more stories to the ones Paul provided.
Some of these stories have really challenged my ideas of how to teach and inspire my children. As I read them I had to wonder how I might have acted in some of these cases. They not only helped me teach my children, but helped me as a person and a parent. If you're not sure how to be a great parent (who is?), this is a great book to learn from the successes and failures of our fellow parents. The stories will stick with you for a long time.

The power of accelerating character development in ourselves and others !

This is a wonderful book in helping both readers and listeners build character ! The payoff for having good character is that it makes one a better person and it makes the world a better place. Personality can open doors, but only character can keep them open. Paul is a truly Inspirational and gifted writer .... In this book, Paul brings to life true stories of real people with teachable moments and lessons on how to react to different situations and with it build character.

Paul Smith offers an excellent tool to help you counsel people of any age! The stories are brief, entertaining, smart and organized well for easy reference. The story matrix in the back of the book makes it a breeze to help you illustrate a point when presented with a teachable moment. Even more useful is Paul's guideline for digging up your own stories from your past that may help instruct others. Especially if you have children, this is a must-have.
