Where can I find me a Davenport?

No not a sofa! This book introduces a new hero that I absolutely love.
There are a lot of things going on in this story. The same hero and heroine from One-Eyed Jack are there. The ending sets the series off nicely for the next book several books. More of the Crane family's history comes out. The characters are filling out very nicely.
A great read for anyone who likes the genre. I'm certainly addicted now.

A great mystery!!

A great novel combining old fashioned mystery with Appalacian folklore. I highly recommend this continuation of the Dark Hollows Mysteries.
The story grabs you right from the start and keeps hold right till the end. Looking forward to the next installment and see where Mr Holloway takes Kili Brennan, the mysterious Ezekiel Crane and the inhabitants of Boone Creek next.

Tense and suspenseful

Holloway packs another punch with this tension-filled, paranormal sequel to One-Eyed Jack. Excellent cliff hangers, escalating conflict, mystery and intrigue, and heart-pounding moments all combine for another witchin' Dark Hollows Mystery.
