absolute genius

I have just this minute finished Vengeance in Blood: Tribulations by Thomas A. Watson and I gotta say, right now I love/hate Thomas A. Watson.
Why? Why would I, who have absolutely raved over most of the books written by Thomas A. Watson, hate him right now?
Well, let me tell you why. This man, this literary genius, sucks you into the story, makes you CARE about the characters, makes you laugh occasionally and fight back a tear every once in a while...then leaves you hanging!!!!
Yes, this is another book of absolute reading pleasure by Thomas A. Watson. I would and will recommend it to all my friends because it is a damned good book. He sucks you into the story, re-introducing you to Tiffany, Besseta's BFF, letting you get to know her, what kind of person/vamp she really is, then as you're rooting on Bessetta, Tiffany, and Kenneth...well, you'll just have to read it and find out!!!

Baby, don't waste your time unless you are a 15 year old girl!!!

What a disappointment. The first book was great this was written for fifteen year old girls. The overuse of the word "baby" is nausiating, the story was weak from the start and who could not predict that the male character was going to be injured and turned. I will not be reading the third book.

Another great read

Another great read by Watson. Spoiler alert.
This one starts with Kenneth and his vampire wife Besseta having survived Baltimore once more at home on the island.
The Pugs Bonnie and Clyde are happy to see them.
Besseta and Kenneth go and get Bessetas long time friend Tiffany. Another vampire with the power of telekinesis. She comes to live with Kenneth and Besseta.
Tiffany is thousands of years old and has a wealth of knowledge that Kenneth plumbs every chance he gets. She's also mapped out the virus that causes Vampirism. She's smart and a true friend to both Kenneth and Bettseta. A friend who has no problem killing to protect.
Besseta sets up a meeting with Maliki and she and Tiffany head out to meet him. At the meeting they are attacked by a giant Werewolf. A Werewolf controlled by a succubi and Besseta beats the hell out of him though he's four times her size. Maliki makes his way out as do Bettseta and Tiffany after getting an idea of just who the enemy is.
Once home they fill Kenneth in on what happened and Kenneth shows them the improvements he's made in security for the island.
Cameras and motion detectors. Of course nothing is fool proof and Kenneth knows it. Kenneth also knows there will be a battle even as he sends Maliki his thoughts, projections and lays out plans for the coming battle. A battle Maliki will be fighting first. A battle that will include succubi, vampires, werewolves, Homeland Security, the Vampire League, Manu Fortis and their plans to change the world.
So begins one damned fine read.
This one has Kenneth, Besseta, Tiffany, Maliki, Bonnie, Clyde, Jack and Jill two pug puppies Kenneth gifted to Tiffany, a Besseta who is able to absorb the gifts of any vampire she drinks from, gifts that cause sever pain, a Tiffany who insists Besseta drink from her so her power of telekinesis can be Bessetas, a Besseta who's faster, stronger and has more gifts than any vampire before her, a Besseta who loves Kenneth , a Kenneth who loves Besseta, a trip to Boston, a meeting with lawyers, billions of dollars, Homeland Security, Succubi, vampires and werewolves setting a trap for Kenneth and his ladies, a running gun battle as they escape, a Kenneth who proves once again what an superior tactician and warrior he is, a Besseta and Tiffany dealing with daylight, helicopters, death, Kenneth and his ladies waiting for the sun to go down so the two vampires will be at their full strength, a battle in a field, a badly wounded Kenneth and he and his wife and friend Tiffany doing their best to stay alive, kill the bad guys and make it home.
Five Stars.
